Wunmi Mosaku Returns to the Red Carpet in a Celebration of Colour
Disney+, National Geographic and Rolex hosted the premiere of Africa: Earth’s Wild Home at BAFTA in London last night. The new seven-part event series, produced by BBC Studios Natural History Unit, launches on National Geographic in the UK and Disney+ on 3 October.

The event was attended by the series’ narrator and executive producer, Oscar nominee Wunmi Mosaku.
The last time we saw the British-Nigerian actress on the red carpet, she was looking lovely in lavender while showcasing her maternity style at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. Last night, she returned to the bold colour that we have always enjoyed seeing from her.
There really isn’t a colour that doesn’t look beautiful on Wunmi, and this purple, blue and hot-pink Atelier Ndigo look was another reminder. The sculptural neckline and accent at the waist give the look its impact, while the combination of those hue are particularly striking.
Founded by stylist and costume designer Waina Chancy, Atelier Ndigo builds its designs around colour, craftsmanship and sculptural construction, often transforming delicate fabrics through pleating and architectural forms. It’s easy to see why the label works so well for Wunmi, especially when you consider her willingness to embrace both colour and interesting silhouettes.

I also love that her makeup artist took cues from the dress, picking up the purple and pink tones around her eyes. With gold pumps completing the look, this was a welcome return to the red carpet for Wunmi.
