Ferragamo’s Tapered Silhouette Finds Its Latest Fan in Rihanna
Rihanna was back in Paris last night, where she attended Céline Dion’s concert before heading to César for dinner.
Seeing Céline Dion is an event, and Rihanna certainly dressed for the occasion, stepping out in a Ferragamo Fall 2026 dress.
When these dresses, which dramatically taper around the ankles, first walked the runway, I’m sure a lot of us didn’t expect to see them translate beyond it. They don’t exactly look easy to walk in, but clearly they are, as Maximilian Davis has now sold this silhouette to Natasha Poly during Cannes – still my personal favourite – Pamela Anderson and Rihanna, with the latter two wearing theirs within the space of 24 hours.
Like Natasha’s, Rihanna’s version features a sheer bodice, but the combination of black chiffon and metallic brown pleating gives this one a completely different feel.
We know Rihanna has never shied away from silhouettes that almost engulf her, so I’m curious to know where you stand on this one. Is this another case of Rihanna making an unlikely runway silhouette work, or is there just too much going on here?
