Mariana di Girolamo: From Dior Romance to Bottega Tailoring
After her Chanel looks during the Venice Film Festival, Mariana di Girolamo continued promoting her new film, Wild Horse Nine, during the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival on Monday, before returning to New York with another notable look.

Draped in Dior
The Chilean actress wore a silk Dior Resort 2027 dress where the floral embellishments, including those suspended from the neckline, set the romantic tone, with the pale-pink hue enhancing that mood. What keeps it interesting for me is the drapery, although I wish I hadn’t clocked the black pumps underneath.

I love how the open back introduces a sensual contrast to everything happening at the front.

Bottega Suits Her
By Tuesday, Mariana was back in New York and back in tailoring, wearing Bottega Veneta. After the fluidity of Dior, this look offered a complete change of pace. And I have to admit, I prefer this.
Maybe it’s the tonal palette, the wearability or the softness of the tailoring, but everything feels incredibly well considered. The proportions are generous, but Mariana isn’t overwhelmed by them, and I love how the long shirt meet the long line jacket.
What surprises me most is how much I love the red Bottega Veneta Campana bag here. Against all that cream, it is exactly what the look needed, breaking up the tonal palette. The Bottega Veneta white Allegra pumps make perfect sense within this colour story.
