Vicky Krieps Debuts Copper-Red Hair at the ‘Monster’ New York Premiere
Vicky Krieps attended Netflix’s Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story New York premiere last night, and the least surprising thing was her new copper-red hair.
The last time the Luxembourgish actress attended a New York premiere, her hair was green to match the step-and-repeat. This time, she has taken it upon herself to repeat the trick, going copper-red to complement the blood-red backdrop.
The second thing that won’t surprise you is that she was wearing Bottega Veneta. The actress has been a Louise Trotter devotee from day one, much like Julianne Moore, and while Vicky’s style is far more expressive than Julianne’s, together they represent two distinct sides of Trotter’s Bottega woman.
The dress itself appears quite simple from the front, combining a black knit turtleneck with a leather maxi skirt, but the open back completely changes the impression from behind.
It’s an unexpected cut-out that makes the dress feel far interesting than the front view initially suggests.
Factor in those statement earrings and the newly auburn hair, and Vicky will always find a way to give us a little bit more, even when the dress itself starts from a relatively simple place.
