Laetitia Casta in Pink Jacquemus at the Angoulême Film Festival
Laetitia Casta attended the closing ceremony of the 19th Angoulême Francophone Film Festival in France this weekend, where she served as president of the jury.

Whenever I think of the French model and actress, I tend to picture her in black, a colour that has become something of a signature for her, particularly when she wears Dolce & Gabbana. So this Jacquemus Spring 2027 look came as a welcome surprise.
Considering the festival takes place in the height of summer in southwestern France, the white shirt and pink skirt feel perfectly suited to the setting. I also love seeing Laetitia in a colour we don’t often get from her.
I suspect some won’t be on board with the skirt, notably those loose strips hanging from the tiered hem. I’ll admit that the design works better in motion, where you can appreciate the volume and movement of the skirt, but I like it.
The only thing not working for me here is the cream bow-front slingback pumps. Against the crisp white knotted shirt and pink skirt, the cream hue feels slightly off. A white shoe would have made more sense to me and kept the colour combination cleaner.
Shoes aside, I’m enjoying this change of pace from Laetitia.
