Virginie Efira’s Saint Laurent Look for Her Locarno Honour
Virginie Efira attended the Ich ist ein Anderer premiere during the 2026 Locarno Film Festival, where she was honoured with the Leopard Club Award.
The Belgian-French actress is known for two things when it comes to her style: wearing black and wearing Saint Laurent. So there were no surprises when she collected her award dressed in the French fashion house.
However, the white poplin shirt did give her familiar formula a refresh. Paired with a black satin wrap skirt, it broke up the black while keeping the sharp, uncomplicated Saint Laurent aesthetic that suits her so well.
Zendaya gave white pumps such great press this summer that even Virginie, a black-pump connoisseur, reached for the Saint Laurent P.A.R.I.S. slingback pumps. I didn’t even know they came in white until now.
The gold Cartier jewellery was another good choice. Those substantial cuffs gave the simple shirt-and-skirt combination a stronger finish, while also preventing the look from feeling too corporate.
It may not be a major departure for Virginie, but as you can see, the small changes made a difference.
