Anne Hathaway Doubles Down on Bump-Baring Maternity Style

Anne Hathaway stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! to talk about her pregnancy, appearing in several films this year, going to Presbyterian Bible camp as a child, and working with dinosaur puppets alongside her The End of Oak Street co-star Ewan McGregor.

The actress arrived at the Los Angeles studio baring her bump once again, wearing a custom LEIN Alexandra top paired with custom Banks trousers.

At first glance, the outfit looks almost identical to the lookbook version, but adjustments would have been necessary to accommodate Anne’s pregnancy. The Alexandra top already has an open front and asymmetric ruffles, making it particularly adaptable, while the trousers would have needed to be altered through the waist and rise to sit comfortably beneath her bump. The result retains the proportions and character of the original design without looking like a conventional maternity look.

Judging by some of the comments I’ve seen online – not here, but on Facebook and X – you would think baring your pregnant belly went against some unwritten rule. So I’m glad Anne doubled down and did it again. Clearly, she’s enjoying dressing her bump on her own terms, as she should.
