Kristen Stewart Ditches Heels While Promoting ‘The Wrong Girls’

Kristen Stewart made a guest appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she talked about being nominated for an Oscar, becoming a director and starring in her new film, The Wrong Girls.

It’s kind of easy to get distracted by the actress wearing this black leather Alex Perry dress. After all, the leather gives her the edge we associate with her style, amplified by the shades she wore on her way into the studio. But it was the sneakers that caught my eye.

For years, Kristen was known for changing into sneakers after an event, having already made her appearance in heels. It looks like her stylist has abandoned that routine altogether, because Kristen wore her sneakers not only on her way into the studio, but also on set.

And I love this for her. Yes, her legs always looked great in heels, but she never seemed particularly comfortable wearing them. At this point, why bother? The sneakers feel far more natural for Kristen, and seeing them paired with a fitted leather dress on The Tonight Show feels so right.
