Front Row at the Chanel Fall 2026 Haute Couture Show
Here is a look at who was in the front row for Chanel’s Fall 2026 Haute Couture show in Paris, where Matthieu Blazy’s vision continued to attract an eclectic mix of ambassadors, actors, musicians, athletes and longtime friends of the house.

Tilda Goes Sheer
You never really know which way Tilda Swinton will go in Chanel. For a while, it was all about long tweed dresses. Remember that depressing period? Under the new creative direction, we’ve seen her move away from tweed and embrace bold colour again, as seen in this Chanel Resort 2027 graphic striped dress which saw her go sheer,
And I don’t blame her. I saw a video of everyone in the venue fanning themselves. I’ve been in those stunning historical buildings in Paris. They are breathtaking venues, but they lack of airflow and air conditioning. That’s why I’m always astounded when celebrities wear Fall clothing to shows held during the summer months.

Ambassador Mode
Before joining The Odyssey Paris photocall, Lupita Nyong’o fulfilled her ambassadorial duties in the front row in a Chanel Fall 2026 look textured with petal-like embellishments. It was another reminder of how naturally she wears the house’s more artistic pieces. I want more of this from this partnership.

Softly Does It
Sarah Pidgeon’s Chanel Fall 2026 look offered a softer interpretation of the collection. The fluid silhouette and painterly print gave the dress an easy elegance.

Denim, Elevated
Only Teyana Taylor could make an embellished denim look so cool. The shimmering Chanel Resort 2027 set delivered plenty of sparkle without sacrificing her signature edge.

Summer Whites, And Stripes
Pedro Pascal kept things simple in an all-white Chanel look, adding just enough personality with the striped knit draped over his shoulders, which gave the look a nautical feel while allowing his black shoes to make sense. His Chanel Boy.Friend watch completed the relaxed summer styling.

Breaking The Palette
Elizabeth Debicki usually gives us a single-colour palette, so this Chanel Resort 2027 look felt like a refreshing change. The print introduced a vibrancy that still sat comfortably within her understated style.

Not This Time
I really enjoyed Michelle Yeoh’s wigs during the Wicked press tour, but this one adds years rather than taking them away. Combined with the textured Chanel Fall 2026 tweed skirt suit, the overall effect feels more like she’s cosplaying as a society matriarch than embracing modern Chanel.

A Fresh Chapter
Vanessa Paradis has been Chanel’s longest-serving ambassador, yet this Chanel Resort 2027 look feels like a genuine shift. She has always had a recognisable Chanel aesthetic, but under Matthieu Blazy it feels refreshed while still remaining unmistakably her.

Simple And Sleek
Alexa Demie’s black Chanel halter dress may not stand out in this patterned crowd, but I like how this minimalist approach allows her effortless cool-girl style to shine through.

Icon Status
Catherine Deneuve proved once again that confidence is the best accessory. She looked elegant and completely authentic to her personal style.

Off-Duty Chanel
This is the most casual I can remember seeing Charlotte Casiraghi. The striped shirt, relaxed denim and black pumps made for an easy, understated look that still retained a touch of Parisian polish.

Double Take
Dina Asher-Smith wore a Chanel Resort 2027 look that Lupita Nyong’o would have recognised, as the actress wore the same design in ivory to The Odyssey London photocall on Sunday. The burgundy version felt a touch sportier, and it suited the athlete perfectly.

Texture Talk
Lux Pascal’s textured Chanel Fall 2026 look delivered beautiful dimension without appearing heavy, despite the fact that I’m sure it was.

Ivory Moment
I’m not sold on the shoes here, but I’m loving everything from the ankles up on Paloma Elsesser, especially the clever way the embellishments mimic feathers.

Ageing Styling
I do love Quen Blackwell’s embellished Chanel silk dress, but the cardigan and shoes aged the look unnecessarily.

Déjà Vu
Shan Yichun gave us another outing of this Chanel Resort 2027 ivory-and-black silhouette. Some might like this version better without the logo.
