Zendaya Wore Valentino To ‘The Odyssey’ London Premiere
Zendaya had a second look for The Odyssey world premiere in London last night.

This came as no surprise. For her biggest red carpet appearances, especially when the primary look is a little complex, Zendaya often has a second outfit waiting in the wings.
We saw it during the Dune: Part Two premiere, when she changed out of the vintage Mugler Robotour bodysuit into a sleek black Mugler gown. The same happened when she co-hosted the 2024 Met Gala, arriving first in Maison Margiela Artisanal by John Galliano before changing into Givenchy Haute Couture.
Aside from the obvious fact that her Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown would have been almost impossible to sit in, it was also only eight hours old to the world after debuting on the runway in Paris. That alone is reason enough to treat such a significant couture creation with extra care.
Her second look was this Valentino Fall 2026 dress, which continued the Athena narrative in a softer, more serene way. The draped silhouette and floral detailing across the bodice echoed the mythology-inspired styling without trying to compete with the Schiaparelli moment.

Had this been her only look of the evening, I certainly wouldn’t have been disappointed. That said, I still preferred her custom Jacquemus from the London photocall.
In fact, I almost wish this Valentino had been the photocall look. But the Jacquemus look required more considered styling. After changing out of Schiaparelli, Zendaya needed something she could simply slip into and head back out for the cast photos. This look served that purpose perfectly while keeping the storytelling consistent.
For the styling, the Chopard necklace was removed in favour of diamond drop earrings, while the white pumps were swapped for taupe Christian Louboutin So Kate pumps. Yes, she has them in every colour.
Stylist: Law Roach.
