Zendaya Wore Maison Margiela Artisanal by John Galliano To The 2024 Met Gala

Zendaya is not only the co-chair for the 2024 Met Gala this evening, but she was also the one-to-watch for the ‘Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion’ themed event.
The ‘Challengers’ actress wore a custom Maison Margiela Artisanal by John Galliano creation inspired by the book ‘The Garden of Time,’ which was inspired by the 2024 Artisanal Collection.
Her lamé and organza bias-cut dress worn over a duchess satin corset feels very much inspired by Dior by Galliano Spring 1999 Haute Couture gown, right down to the fruity corsages, but from the colours to the Stephen Jones for Maison Margiela hand-painted plume-like veil and the makeup by Pat McGrath, Zendaya really set the tone for the evening.
I adore how the background amplifies the look. I kinda wish they would have all the photographers on one side like they do during awards season, but I’m sure that the space is limited.
Custom-made Tabi pumps by Christian Louboutin for Maison Margiela completed her look.
