Rosalía Takes Her Ballet Era To The Streets Of New York
For her 2026 Lux Tour, Rosalía incorporated a substantial ballet element into the show, specifically for the song Porcelana, and that translated into some of the custom Dior by Jonathan Anderson looks she wore on stage.
With her two latest outings in New York this week, it would appear that the ballet aesthetic has now translated into her street style as well.

Tutu With Attitude
Looking at the singer in this custom dress by Nigerian designer Yasmina Atta, there are plenty of elements telling me I shouldn’t like it: the see-through latex bodice, visible bra, double white leather and studded belts, and drop-waist tutu skirt. Yet, honestly, I love it.
When the right look meets the right wearer, I don’t fight it, and that’s exactly what is happening here. Rosalía has the confidence and attitude to make it work.
The only thing I can confidently say I don’t like are the platform shoes, but even they bring an attitude that somehow feels warranted within the overall look.

Balletcore, Day Two
A day later, Rosalía stepped out again, this time wearing a Stella McCartney Spring 2026 mini dress trimmed with a cloud-like tutu hem.
Compared to the Yasmina Atta look, this felt considerably softer, but the ballet reference remained front and centre. The fitted silhouette and exaggerated tutu hem made it clear that this wasn’t a coincidence or a one-off styling choice.
Once again, I found myself questioning the footwear before quickly moving on, because the real story here isn’t the shoes.
It’s the tutus.
Whether this is a continuation of the visual world she created for the Lux Tour or simply a fashion fixation she is enjoying right now, Rosalía seems fully committed to bringing ballet-inspired dressing into her everyday wardrobe. And what makes it work is that she never wears these pieces timidly. Even the most unconventional silhouettes look completely natural on her.
