Colman Domingo Wore Valentino To The ‘Disclosure Day’ Paris Photocall
Emily Blunt and Colman Domingo on the same Disclosure Day press tour? I have a feeling we are about to be see several BDOTW nominees from the pair.
The actor joined Emily for the Paris photocall on Monday wearing Valentino, and while Colman usually gives us Alessandro Michele’s more embellished instincts, this outing reminded us that he can make tailoring feel just as exciting.
You all know how I feel about an overcoat, and this one had me immediately. There is something about a long coat on Colman that just lands. Maybe it is the way he carries himself because he is so magnetic. His presence alone gives the look another dimension, turning great tailoring into something memorable.
The rich oxblood tie against the muted palette stopped this from fading into predictable menswear territory, while the striped shirt sharpened the mood and added personality. Even the relaxed trouser break worked here, giving the look a confidence that felt entirely in step with Colman’s approach to dressing.
Finished with Robert Marc sunglasses, this felt like the perfect opening chapter for what promises to be a strong press tour wardrobe.
