Celebrities Front Row At The Dior Resort 2027 LA Show

Here is a look at celebrities perched front row for Jonathan Anderson’s Dior Resort 2027 runway show held in LA, where the new Dior mood came into focus through sculptural silhouettes, intricate textures, and a mix of playful femininity and undone tailoring.

Déjà Vu Dressing

Anya Taylor-Joy looked beautiful in her black Dior two-piece, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that we have seen this silhouette from her many times before. The sculptural bubble skirt and twisted halter top fit neatly within her established red carpet formula, and while it worked, I was hoping this outing would see her push herself somewhere less familiar.

Denim Rebellion

LaKeith Stanfield approached Dior in typically unique fashion with a distressed double-breasted denim jacket and oversized cargo shorts in a look that balanced Edwardian tailoring with utilitarian dressing.

Quiet Luxury, Literally

I know people will see Mikey Madison in this shimmering grey Dior suit styled with black accessories and instantly call it boring, but the fabric looked incredible when I saw her on video. The subtle sparkle running through the tweed completely changed the effect for me. Mikey has never chased loud fashion moments, so this restrained approach feels entirely consistent with her style.

Candy Floss Energy

Miranda Kerr floated into the show wearing a soft pink Dior dress overflowing with gathered tulle. Between the balloon sleeves, airy draping, and matching blush accessories, the entire look felt dreamlike, like candy floss.

Dior Summer

There will be no prizes for guessing that Sabrina Carpenter and Chase Sui Wonders were my favourites in their Dior Resort 2027 and Fall 2026 looks respectively.

Yes, Sabrina’s sheer pale-yellow dress is very, very see-through, yet between the soft pastel tulle panels, oversized floral detailing, and her onstage persona, this playful look felt perfectly in tune with her current style direction. The yellow Dior bag and bow-accented heels tied everything together beautifully.

Meanwhile, Chase Sui Wonders delivered one of the strongest styling moments of the night. The exaggerated curled trims and sculptural proportions of her pale-yellow dress already carried enough personality. The black sunglasses subtly eased in the black bow sandals.

Runway Girls

Jisoo and Yumi Kawai instantly stood out wearing the polka-dot scalloped skirt from the Dior Fall 2026 collection exactly as presented on the runway.

While Charlotte Le Bon styled the look in a more personal way at Cannes, the sweetness of the embroidered sheer top and dramatic scalloped skirt feels completely aligned with Jisoo’s softer Dior image. Yumi Kawai brought a different energy to the same silhouette with the olive-green version.

Ambassadors In Black

Taylor Russell and Greta Lee both leaned into black Dior looks rich in texture and movement.

Taylor’s fringed slip dress carried that undone elegance she wears so well. Greta Lee’s flocked polka-dot gown delivered a stronger graphic impact, and I especially loved how the dotted motif continued onto her white-and-black pumps for a fully connected look.

Canadian Tuxedo

Fashion rebels Miley Cyrus and Jeff Goldblum both opted for Dior denim. Miley’s Canadian tuxedo had a louche rock-and-roll edge with her faded patchwork jeans, unbuttoned chambray shirt, and messy blonde waves, while Jeff leaned into retro Americana with his pale-wash denim set, oversized belt buckle, and movie-star sunglasses.

That Cropped Jacket

Sophie Wilde and Eileen Gu both took on different variations of the Dior cropped jacket.

Sophie’s version became overly fussy thanks to the layered peplum detailing mixed with the panelled jeans, which made the proportions feel slightly overworked. As for Eileen, I love the soft pistachio tone of the jacket paired with the embellished jeans and Dior bag, but my ongoing issue with this silhouette remains the same: the cropped cut sits awkwardly on the body and never quite lands cleanly.

Liquid Shine

Deva Cassel and Lauren Hutton immediately caught my attention in their Dior floral satin-jacquard looks finished with a luminous sheen.

Deva was easily one of my favourites from this front row. Between the dramatic floral print, the liquid shine of the fabric, the deep neckline, and the rich burgundy accessories, everything came together beautifully. Lauren’s softly swirling pastel suit delivered a more relaxed interpretation of the same textile story.

The Indie Boys

Archie Madekwe and Dominik Fike both felt perfectly aligned with Jonathan Anderson’s softer Dior menswear direction.

Archie’s loose tailoring, textured knit, and oversized silver buckle gave his look an easy, understated cool factor, while Dominik’s speckled brown blazer, cream trousers, and tinted glasses landed somewhere between indie musician and art-school student.

The Reverse Collar Is Back

Or did it ever really go away? Maude Apatow and Celine Song are clear reminders that the reverse collar still has a firm grip on fashion.

Maude’s sheer polka-dot Dior dress balanced sweetness with vintage sensibilities, while Celine’s minimalist ivory dress offered a more refined interpretation of the same detail. Both looks felt refreshingly understated.
