Leïla Bekhti Wore Schiaparelli Haute Couture, Vintage Versace & Guy Laroche During Cannes Film Festival
Leïla Bekhti, who is serving as a jury member for Un Certain Regard during the Cannes Film Festival, has already delivered four distinct looks, with three arriving today alone. Few attendees are working the festival wardrobe circuit this hard right now.

La vie d’une femme Premiere – Sharp Hips, Wrong Finish
This evening Leïla wore Schiaparelli Spring 2025 Haute Couture. This should have been one of the standout looks of the festival thanks to the sculpted ivory corset with those dramatic pointed hips and the intricate lace-up back detail. But for me, the trousers completely flatten the impact.

I kept imagining this with a long black skirt and a sweeping train instead, which would have elevated the theatricality of the corset and given the look a far stronger red carpet presence. The Chaumet Heritage Collection earrings dating from 1976 completed her look.

Un Certain Regard Opening Ceremony – Jury Duty Chic
Her second Schiaparelli outing came during the Un Certain Regard opening ceremony, where she wore a sharply tailored black skirt suit accented with the house’s signature gold buttons. This felt impeccably suited to her role as a jury member: elegant, authoritative, and refined without feeling too overly formal. She kept the same Chaumet Heritage Collection earrings.

Un Certain Regard Jury Photocall – Capri Conversion
Leïla may have finally pushed me further toward accepting the capri trouser comeback. The cropped silhouette worked particularly well here because it balanced the heavily detailed Versace Fall 1992 buckled jacket from Gianni Versace’s iconic Bondage collection. Had the trousers been longer or wider, the look could have tipped too heavy, but the proportions actually worked in her favour.

Opening Ceremony – Parisian Noir
For the opening ceremony last night, Leïla wore a Guy Laroche Fall/Winter 2002 black gown lightly embellished throughout, and this was easily my favourite of the four looks. There was something undeniably Parisian about it, from the soft off-the-shoulder neckline to the dark sultry glamour of the silhouette. The Chaumet archive diamond-set cuff bracelet dating from 1939, alongside the High en Scène Jewellery Voltige earrings, added the perfect finishing touch.
