Front Row @ Louis Vuitton Cruise 2019

A handful of lovely ladies were in attendance at the Louis Vuitton Cruise 2019 show at Fondation Maeght on Monday (May 28) in Saint-Paul-De-Vence, France.

Emma Stone: The actress stepped out in glittering trousers which played off of the contrasting collar in the white blazer. It was a different outfit compared to what everyone else wore. I fear that some might get hung up on the vintage references, namely, the oversized peaked collar and chunky gold belt.

Laura Harrier: The ‘BlacKkKlansman’ star showed off her pins in a mini which fused opposing patterns and was tied up with a corset waist. I was charmed by the more minimalist looks from the designer she wore to Cannes, and find myself missing some of that simplicity here.

Ruth Negga: Brightening things up, she stayed true to her retro-tinged, feminine style while celebrating the designer’s aesthetic in this sweet look. The way the pleats echo the three-dimensional detailing of the top is most attractive.

Kering x Cannes Dinner Red Carpet Roundup

Black appeared to be the favourite colour of the evening at the Kering x Cannes dinner during the 2018 Cannes Film Festival on Sunday (May 13). Celebrities joined Cate BlanchettChloë Sevigny and Kristen Stewart.

Salma Hayek Pinault: She didn’t get the black memo. Instead, she had a captivating moment in custom Gucci. It has a whimsical feel with the lace accents and accessories, but it still has an alluring finish. It would have been just as magical without the necklace.

Li Yuchun: Another one who plays by her own rule book, the singer demonstrated her sartorial skills in Gucci. The cognac trousers were a departure from her typical tailored black, but they offered a fresh take against the prim jacket and collared shirt.

Isabelle Huppert In Saint Laurent – ‘Sink Or Swim (Le Grand Bain)’ Cannes Film Festival

Isabelle Huppert made her 2018 Cannes Film Festival debut at the ‘Sink Or Swim (Le Grand Bain)’ premiere on Sunday (May 13).

As we’ve pointed out, much of the magic of the French actress’s style is how graciously she wears looks on the red carpet.

And, that was very much proven true with this glam-rocker Saint Laurent ensemble, as she made it look like as effortless of an endeavor as possible despite the cliché sequins and fringe.

It’s perhaps not what I would have first picked for her for Cannes.

But, on her, it did have a dark, mystic allure that was undeniable on the ageless star while confirming that she will always follow her own stylish whims. I love the artistry of her earrings, too.

Isabelle Huppert In Saint Laurent – 2018 Beijing International Film Festival Closing Ceremony

Isabelle Huppert attended the closing ceremony of 2018 Beijing International Film Festival on Sunday (April 22) in China.

The French actress isn’t one to follow trends, more often she marches to the beat of her own stylish drum.

However, on this occasion her Saint Laurent black embroidered dress styled with the brands signature ‘Tribute’ sandals, did see the actress take on the sheer trend which is not about to die out any time soon.

I will always see Isabelle as a graceful figure on the red carpet, and this look doesn’t change that. It’s not always about what you wear, more how you wear it.

And she wears it very well.

Isabelle Huppert In Prada – Miami Film Festival 2018

Academy Award nominated, Golden Globe Award winning and two- time César winning actress Isabelle Huppert, was honoured at the Miami Film Festival with the prestigious ‘Precious Gem – Icon’ Award in recognition of her incredible cinematic achievements on Saturday (March 17) in Flordia.

The actress wore a pale blue Prada gown decked out with customary embellishments, which did its best to lift the mood, but I was desperate missing that Isabelle magic, that je n’ais se quoi.

Colour wise, I have no issue.

It’s the darts and the georgette fabric which aren’t holding out too well here; which is a crying shame.
