Isabelle Huppert In Christian Dior Haute Couture – 1st Hainan International Film Festival Closing Ceremony

Isabelle Huppert joined Juliette Binoche on the red carpet for the closing ceremony of 1st Hainan International Film Festival on Sunday (December 16) in Sanya, Hainan Province of China.

The French actress also opted for a French fashion house in Christian Dior.

I have been referring to these Dior Haute Couture gowns as nude – which is how they appear to the naked eye – but Dior says they are dusky pink.

This particular ball gown is more captivating that some of the others with its layers of chantilly lace, and sunray-pleated point d’esprit.

My biggest surprise is how this look didn’t wash her out.

A Dior Joaillerie Bois de Rose ring and earrings with pink gold and diamonds completed this dusky pink outing.

Isabelle Huppert In Armani Prive – 2018 Rome Film Festival

Isabelle Huppert In Armani Prive - 2018 Rome Film Festival

Isabelle Huppert was honored during the Rome Film Festival with a lifetime achievement award for acting on Saturday (October 20).

The French actress was oozing sophistication wearing an Armani Prive Fall 2018 gown decorated with multi-colour crystals which she styled with Pomellato jewels.

Isabelle often does high glamour, but her presentation is always fuss-free, so I’m not surprised she opted not to wear the sheer gold-beaded bolero on this occasion.

Front Row @ Louis Vuitton Spring 2019

Front Row @ Louis Vuitton Spring 2019

At the Louis Vuitton Spring 2019 show on Tuesday (October 2) during Paris Fashion Week, there were almost too many LV lovelies to count — and a few good men, too.

Cate Blanchett: The hero piece of Cate’s look was clearly the statement jacket that was a glitzy constellation of embellishment — and signature LV logo-lined cuffs — to jazz up the sophistication of the moody-dark ensemble.

Alicia Vikander: As per usual, the actress effortlessly customized an LV look to her chic standards; this one bringing in boho flair with its mix of patterns, autumnal hues, and the floral tapestry coat about her shoulders. Some would say the cross-body purse was a bit big, but she made it fit right in.

Thandie Newton: The allure of this lacy dress was balanced with the tailored jacket on top. And, can we just talk about Thandie’s gorgeous hair.

Isabelle Huppert In Chloe – ‘Greta’ Toronto International Film Festival Premiere

Isabelle Huppert In Chloe - ‘Greta’ Toronto International Film Festival Premiere

Isabelle Huppert joined Chloe Grace Moretz for the ‘Greta’ premiere during the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival on Thursday (September 6) in Canada.

Bold colours and striking paisley print inform this suit from Chloe, breathing statement cool into the tailored fit and cotton fabrication.

I really love the total commitment to this look, right down to the embellished sandals.

Isabelle can really do no wrong. This is such a fearless look.

Front Row @ Louis Vuitton Cruise 2019

A handful of lovely ladies were in attendance at the Louis Vuitton Cruise 2019 show at Fondation Maeght on Monday (May 28) in Saint-Paul-De-Vence, France.

Emma Stone: The actress stepped out in glittering trousers which played off of the contrasting collar in the white blazer. It was a different outfit compared to what everyone else wore. I fear that some might get hung up on the vintage references, namely, the oversized peaked collar and chunky gold belt.

Laura Harrier: The ‘BlacKkKlansman’ star showed off her pins in a mini which fused opposing patterns and was tied up with a corset waist. I was charmed by the more minimalist looks from the designer she wore to Cannes, and find myself missing some of that simplicity here.

Ruth Negga: Brightening things up, she stayed true to her retro-tinged, feminine style while celebrating the designer’s aesthetic in this sweet look. The way the pleats echo the three-dimensional detailing of the top is most attractive.

Kering x Cannes Dinner Red Carpet Roundup

Black appeared to be the favourite colour of the evening at the Kering x Cannes dinner during the 2018 Cannes Film Festival on Sunday (May 13). Celebrities joined Cate BlanchettChloë Sevigny and Kristen Stewart.

Salma Hayek Pinault: She didn’t get the black memo. Instead, she had a captivating moment in custom Gucci. It has a whimsical feel with the lace accents and accessories, but it still has an alluring finish. It would have been just as magical without the necklace.

Li Yuchun: Another one who plays by her own rule book, the singer demonstrated her sartorial skills in Gucci. The cognac trousers were a departure from her typical tailored black, but they offered a fresh take against the prim jacket and collared shirt.
