Disney Upfront 2026 Red Carpet Fashion Roundup
The 2026 Disney Upfront was Disney’s major annual presentation to advertisers, where the company unveiled its upcoming slate across ABC, Hulu, Disney+, FX, ESPN, Marvel, Star Wars, and theatrical releases.

Couture At 3PM
I know many people are going to say Lindsay Lohan was perhaps a bit overdressed for an afternoon presentation wearing this Ashi Studio Fall 2025 Couture dress, complete with an extended train, but honestly, I appreciate the commitment. Who doesn’t love full movie-star glamour in the afternoon? The embellished corsetry and dramatic silhouette reminded everyone that she is that girl.

Deeply Predictable
Kaia Gerber wore a Jacquemus Fall 2026 two-piece look which feels entirely within her usual M.O. The sleek black styling, exposed midriff, and minimalist silhouette are all signatures we’ve seen from her countless times before. Ironically, her tan ended up being the most noticeable thing here.

Fairytale Dressing
Avantika Vandanapu stepped into full fairytale mode wearing an Ines Di Santo Fall 2026 gown. There have been rumours that she’s set to be the next Disney princess, and the soft pastel palette, crystal embellishment, and sheer layered skirt felt completely aligned with the fantasy world audiences are expecting from her next chapter with the studio. Some might say it is overly precious or too saccharine, but I think that is exactly the point.

Creased Beyond Repair
Brie Larson’s lavender satin dress unfortunately suffered from one major issue: the fabric. The heavy creases were so distracting, and the styling only amplified the problem. Beyond that, the look ages her.

Alaïa In Bloom
Chase Infiniti wore a fitted Alaïa dress which delivered a clean silhouette, and despite black dominating the look, the green florals gave it a fresh springtime feel.

Mini Dress, Major Charm
Emma Roberts brought a playful retro spirit in this Blumarine Pre-Fall 2026 mini dress embroidered with tiny red roses. The flared silhouette, sheer tights, and pointed pumps gave the look a ’60s-inspired finish that felt light, youthful, and perfectly suited to the tone of the Disney event.

Crease-Free Satin
Janelle James wore a green satin L’Agence Resort 2025 look that immediately stood out thanks to the richness of the colour and the fluidity of the crease-free fabric.

Pretty In Pink
Kimberly Williams-Paisley wore an Emilia Wickstead pink moiré dress with a cape overlay that brought soft structure to the look, while the silhouette felt classic and ladylike.

Silver Screen Sparkle
Some may also say that Lucy Halliday in this silver sequin Self-Portrait dress was also a little overdressed for the occasion, but I actually enjoyed the impact. Sometimes a little daytime sparkle works when it’s worn with confidence.

Red Satin Simplicity
Mandy Moore wore a red satin look from The Sei which relied entirely on clean lines and rich colour. Many will appreciate this understated elegance among so many heavily styled looks.

Unexpectedly Casual
I was fully onboard with this rare relaxed look for Olivia Colman. I mean, when have we ever seen her in jeans on the red carpet? The black blazer and crisp white shirt kept things sharp and understated, but my enthusiasm waned when I saw those see-through shoes. They completely disrupted the balance of the look and felt oddly disconnected from everything happening above the ankle. A sleek loafer flat would have pulled this together far more successfully.

Summer In Lime
Quinta Brunson looked fresh and summery in this lime-green Hunter Bell dress. The bright citrus shade instantly lifted the mood, while the simple strapless silhouette kept things easy and unfussy.

Offbeat Stripe Theory
Rowan Blanchard always marches to the beat of her own drum, and this Ellie Misner look was no exception. The striped corset dress with the oversized bow detail felt like something pulled from a surreal vintage dollhouse, with a touch of cabaret styling mixed in. It’s quirky, theatrical, and exactly the kind of look that ensures Rowan stands out on every red carpet she graces.

Dark Comedy Dressing
Sarah Paulson wore Rodarte, and the mood of this black dress with the exaggerated white collar felt perfectly aligned with her work in American Horror Story. There’s something slightly eerie and severe about the silhouette, almost gothic in spirit, which mirrors the unsettling tone associated with the series. On anyone else this might have read overly stark for a Disney event, but Sarah has the presence to sell this.
