Nicole Kidman & Sandra Bullock Reunite At CinemaCon 2026 For ‘Practical Magic 2’

Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock reunited at CinemaCon 2026 to promote their upcoming film Practical Magic 2, returning to the roles that first brought them together in the 1998 original.

Lost In The Backdrop

I’ve said it before, and I will no doubt say it again, but I will never understand why step-and-repeats aren’t considered when selecting a look for the red carpet. So much of the detail in Nicole Kidman’s Colleen Allen Spring 2026 dress is lost against this backdrop, which completely flattens its impact. However, even with that said, this still feels like an improvement in both the hair and dress departments compared to her look at the Margo’s Got Money Troubles New York Premiere last week.

The Fit Issue

As for Sandra Bullock, it’s been a while since we’ve seen her on the red carpet, and while I want to celebrate her return, this Gabriela Hearst Resort 2026 bold red suit styled with a leather bra, which doesn’t fade into the background, does raise questions about the fit. The jacket is at least a size too big – you can see this most clearly in the shoulders and sleeves – and she might have gotten away with it if the trousers weren’t so long, with multiple breaks. Gabriela Hearst tailoring is second to none, so it’s disappointing that the fit goes against that.
