Nicole Kidman Wore Schiaparelli To The ‘Margo’s Got Money Troubles’ New York Premiere

Nicole Kidman joined her co-star Elle Fanning on the red carpet for the Margo’s Got Money Troubles premiere at Regal Union Square in New York City.

First, it was Gwyneth Paltrow, and now Nicole is stepping into sheer territory.

We all gasped when Gwyneth stepped out at the Oscars last month in that side-sheer Balenciaga moment, and Nicole followed suit last night in this Schiaparelli Fall 2026 look.

That said, the sheer element isn’t the most interesting part of this look. The real focus sits in the construction of the black knit, detailed with scale-like patterning, while the white strip running down the centre front and back creates a strong, graphic visual line that draws the eye.

It’s a bold look, and Nicole leans into it with confidence, clearly enjoying the moment.

However, the bangs (fringe) feel completely disconnected from the look.

In fact, the hairstyle ends up being more distracting than the sheer panels themselves, which is where the look loses some of its impact for me. She needed a less fussy, cleaner style.
