Felicity Jones In Oscar de la Renta – The CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards

Felicity Jones received the Award of Excellence in Acting during CinemaCon’s Big Screen Achievement Awards on Thursday (April 26) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

If you’re having a mild case of déjà vu, you’re not alone.

I think that’s because this Oscar de la Renta style of dress fits so perfectly with Felicity’s red carpet M.O., that we’ve tricked our minds into believing we’ve seen this before.

The dainty fit and flare silhouette is so classic and timeless in style that this look could be from any era.

Gabrielle Union In Gabriela Hearst – The CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards

Gabrielle Union picked up the Breakthrough Producer of the Year award at CinemaCon’s Big Screen Achievement Awards on Thursday (April 26) in Las Vegas, Nevada, for her executive role on ‘Being Mary Jane’.

I love how the sharp tailoring of her Gabriela Hearst Spring 2018 suit is softened by the petal-pink hue for a chic balance.

Some have expressed a dislike for the boxy silhouette when it comes to suits, but I have nothing but love for this powerful suited option defined by the double-breasted blazer.

Le Silla shoes and Alexis Bitter jewels completed her look.

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

There were many dapper gentlemen on the red carpet cutting sharp figures in sleek suits.

Ryan Gosling: The actor joined Claire Foy on Wednesday (April 25) for the ‘First Man’ presentation at CinemaCon 2018. I was struck by the different references in the look with the soft red patterned shirt and dusty blue shoes playing off the pinstripes in the suit for a cohesive but still dynamic finish.

Tom Hiddleston: Lightening things up, the actor wore a Ralph Lauren Purple Label Hadley silk linen suit for an appearance on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ on Tuesday (April 24) to promote ‘Avengers: Infinity War.’ The light mauve jacket and trousers with pale blue shirt evokes spring with the clean lines enhancing the subtle shades. For a fresh look, I would have preferred gray shoes rather than brown boots.

Channing Tatum: Like the other gents, he elected to go without a tie when he attended ‘The Big Picture’ presentation on Tuesday (April 24) at CinemaCon 2018. Clad in Rag & Bone, he looked cool and confident. I like the idea of the different collar shape, but think he could have gotten away with something more substantial.

Anna Kendrick In Balmain, Philosophy di Lorenzo & Giovanni Bedin – ‘A Simple Favor’ CinemaCon Presentation & Big Screen Achievement Awards

Anna Kendrick has been busy at CinemaCon 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada. First, she joined Blake Lively at the presentation of ‘A Simple Favor’ on Thursday (April 26) then she was back on the red carpet at The CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards.

‘A Simple Favor’ CinemaCon Presentation: Not the typical heavily embellished ensemble from the designer, she wore a Balmain Spring 2018 bodysuit with a Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini skirt. Despite being different materials, the pieces merge in a way you could easily think it’s one garment. Jewels by Gismondi 1754 and Dionea Orcini added sparkle. Sunny yellow heels added a merry, although slightly distracting, finish.

The CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards: Donning black again, she showed a sexier side in a revealing Giovanni Bedin mini. I foresee this not going down too well. I’m struggling with the proportions. Had it been a longer length with the sheer panels focused on the top, I might have been able to get behind it.

Jennifer Garner In Roland Mouret – ‘Peppermint’ CinemaCon Presentation

Jennifer Garner was another one of the stylish attendees at CinemaCon. She walked the red carpet at the ‘Peppermint’ presentation on Tuesday (April 24) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

‘Red hot’ was the phrase that popped into my head after seeing the actress in this Roland Mouret Resort 2018 dress.

While some might write the frock off as simple, it has been cleverly tailored with elements that add interest but don’t take away from the effortless feeling.

It would have been nice to see the contrasting black strap on the neckline more clearly, but I wouldn’t want the look to be modified because it presents such a flirty finish right now with her tousled waves.

Strappy back sandals tied in the subtle detail.

Was this a hit for you?

Mila Kunis In Sally LaPointe – ‘The Spy Who Dumped Me’ CinemaCon Presentation

Mila Kunis was at CinemaCon for the presentation of ‘The Spy Who Dumped Me’ on Thursday (April 26) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Black is very much the actress’s signature shade, but this Sally LaPointe Spring 2018 ensemble incorporated rich emerald green for a bewitching effect.

Even with the chevrons of embellishment and belt, there’s an ease to the look courtesy of the short sleeves.

When she turned around, she revealed an open back, demonstrating she was not in a simple T-shirt.

She never looks like she tries too hard and this outfit stays true to that. It’s chic and refined, but feels effortless.

Blake Lively In Sonia Rykiel – ‘A Simple Favor’ CinemaCon Presentation

Blake Lively showed some leg at the presentation of ‘A Simple Favor’ during CinemaCon 2018 on Thursday (April 26) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Suiting has been a popular trend on the red carpet of late, with celebrities donning pristine suits in all colours.

I love her interpretation of the trend with this Sonia Rykiel custom blazer dress.

Paired with the Aritzia blouse and Brackish Eddy bow tie it is a fun take on tuxedo dressing.

The rich blue piece would have had plenty of impact thanks to the colour and leg-enhancing silhouette but the addition of the playful bow tie brings such a joyful element and demonstrates that tailoring doesn’t always have to be severe and serious.

Christian Louboutin ‘So Kate’ pumps with Christian’s hand-drawn ‘Loubitag’ scribble print completed the striking outfit.
