Menswear Red Carpet Roundup
Here is a roundup of the notable menswear looks from this week.

Beef Season 2 Premiere
Like his co-star Carey Mulligan, Oscar Isaac delivered a mix of colours in Celine. For a premiere, this could have easily defaulted to a standard black suit, but this felt far more considered. The saturated red shirt against the rich brown trousers shouldn’t work as seamlessly as it does, yet he carries it with ease. The draped knit over his shoulders adds a nonchalant finish, giving the look a relaxed, almost Riviera energy that still reads appropriate for the occasion.
Styled by Matthew Henson.

Finneas O’Connell, who once leaned into more experimental territory on the red carpet, kept things firmly classic in Prada. The black suit, grey shirt, and tie combination is as traditional as it gets, and while there’s nothing to fault in terms of execution, it does feel like a retreat from the personality we’ve seen before. Clean, yes, but also a little forgettable when you are standing alongside Carey and Oscar.

Hacks Season 5 Premiere
Paul W. Downs wore a Dior Spring 2026 grey wool flannel double-breasted suit, and while some may find the proportions too oversized, I think it works in his favour. The broader cut gives the look a modern edge without overwhelming him. Dior shoes and sunglasses completed this confident take on tailoring that doesn’t feel try-hard.
Styled by Rose Forde.

Fashion Trust U.S. Awards 2026
Jay Ellis’ Ferrari Fall 2026 suit might divide opinion, but I appreciate that he pushed beyond his usual classic-with-a-twist formula. The gradient effect is interesting, though I do think it would have landed better had it transitioned from a lighter brown rather than starting so starkly with white. Still, it’s a step in a more experimental direction, and that counts for something.
Styled by Jason Bolden.

A Strong Case For Leather Tailoring
Leather suits are notoriously hard to pull off, but François Arnaud makes a strong case for how they can – and do – work in this Simkhai Fall 2026 olive-green suit, resisting the opportunity to style the look with a leather tie, which has become something of a signature for Jacob Elordi.

Chase Stokes wore a dunhill Spring 2026 shawl-lapel Bourdon jacket, with the waist tie giving the look a robe-like finish. It’s an intriguing idea, but the fit feels a touch too neat for what the silhouette is trying to achieve. A slightly looser cut might have allowed the look to breathe and feel more natural. The silk deco diamond pocket square adds a refined touch, but I’m not entirely convinced everything is working in sync. Christian Louboutin Ziggissimo Forever boots completed his look.

Outcome New York Premiere
Jonah Hill wore a Loewe by Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez Pre-Fall 2026 suit. The red stripe running down the trousers shifts the mood entirely from classic, to something with a lot more personality. It injects just enough attitude to keep the look from feeling too expected, while the Loewe Bobine ankle boots complete the look.
Styled by Adam Winder.

Out in Monaco
Tennis player Lorenzo Musetti wore head-to-toe Bottega Veneta, with both the jacket and Sunday slippers realised in soft lambskin with all-over Intrecciato. The denim pairing keeps it relaxed, while the texture of the leather elevates the entire look. Finished with Bottega Veneta Dizzy square sunglasses, it’s understated but still considered, exactly what you want from a street-style moment.
