Carey Mulligan Wore Dries van Noten To The ‘Beef’ Season 2 Premiere
Carey Mulligan attended the LA premiere of Netflix’s Beef Season 2, held at The Egyptian Theatre Hollywood.

As much as I admire Carey Mulligan’s style, which is usually at its strongest during awards season, her press tour looks tend to lean towards nondescript Prada dresses or minimalist choices that rarely ignite any real excitement.
So, I was genuinely surprised to see her come out this strong, wearing a look from Julian Klausner’s Dries van Noten Fall 2026 collection.
Carey isn’t typically drawn to print or pattern, which is exactly why this mixed-media strapless dress feels so unexpected. And that’s precisely where its appeal lies. The contrast between the richly textured, tapestry-like bodice and the softer, more delicate panel beneath creates an intriguing interplay of heritage fabrics, while the pixelated skirt introduces a modern, almost digital disruption.
It’s this a beautiful clash of references – old-world textiles meeting contemporary print – that gives the dress its edge, making it far more compelling than anything we usually see from her outside of awards season.
Gianvito Rossi Ribbon sandals completed her look.
Stylist: Danielle Goldberg.
