Nicola Coughlan Wore Georges Hobeika Couture To ‘The Magic Faraway Tree’ London Screening
Today, Nicola Coughlan attended the special screening of The Magic Faraway Tree, the classic children’s fantasy novel in which the Irish actress stars as Silky the fairy.

Knowing what we know about Nicola’s style, it comes as no surprise to see her leaning into character dressing with this custom soft mint green Georges Hobeika Spring 2026 Couture gown.
The connection is clear. Silky the fairy is whimsical, ethereal, and otherworldly, and this gown mirrors that mood without tipping into costume, though some might disagree. The soft mint tone feels lifted straight from a storybook landscape, while the airy layers and delicate embellishments echo the magical world of the Faraway Tree.
What makes this work is how the custom elements have been adapted for Nicola from the runway. The lining provides more coverage while still allowing the lightness of the fabric to come through. The off-the-shoulder neckline, softened with ruffled tiers, frames her beautifully, and the addition of the shoulder straps offers support while adding a touch of sparkle.
It strikes the right balance between narrative and wearability, allowing her to reference her character while still looking entirely herself on the red carpet.
TASAKI jewellery completed her look.
Stylist: Aimée Croysdill.
