While there is an element of playfulness to this Carolina Herrera Fall 2025 ivory multicolour mini cape layered over a mini skirt, the ornate brocade, oversized black sunglasses and statement earrings create too many competing focal points. Nothing gets to shine because the eye keeps moving. I would lose the sunglasses, let the cape carry the look, and have her hands placed confidently through the arm openings to open up the silhouette. As presented, the styling feels guarded, almost as if she has put a barrier between herself and the camera.

With a welcome break in the grey weather, this look instantly felt in step with the upcoming season. The watermelon pink and green hues of this Carolina Herrera Resort 2026 sleeveless boat neck column gown with a layered overskirt bring a freshness that suits her beautifully.

Some might feel the pomelo shawl adds too much volume, but I think it gives the look a sense of occasion and a touch of screen siren drama. And I am glad to see green pumps peeking out from beneath the skirt rather than black, as that choice keeps the colour story cohesive.
