Noémie Merlant Wore Louis Vuitton To ‘The Original+’ Paris Photocall
The red carpet has quietly become the modern pregnancy announcement platform, and Noémie Merlant joined that lineage at The Original+ photocall held at L’Olympia in Paris on Tuesday. Following moments from Rihanna, Kiara Advani, Saoirse Ronan, Vanessa Kirby, and Michelle Dockery this year, the message was clear — and stylishly delivered.

The Louis Vuitton ambassador chose a form-fitting knitted jumpsuit from the house’s Fall 2025 collection, paired with the matching cape, ensuring there was absolutely no ambiguity. This wasn’t a soft reveal or a strategic angle moment. This was direct, confident, and fully owned.
When Urassaya Sperbund wore the same look to the Louis Vuitton Resort 2026 runway show back in May, I remember saying this design would land better later in the year — and here we are. In December, the weight of the knit, the richness of the brown tone, and the enveloping cape feel seasonally right.
The runway’s clock-face and monogrammed pendant made a return here, suggesting it’s part of the full visual language of the look rather than a personal styling choice. Paired with leather over-the-knee Louis Vuitton boots, the ensemble leaned firmly into winter dressing.
This was a pregnancy reveal handled with clarity, and confidence.
Stylist: Clement Lomellini.
