Vanessa Kirby Wore Schiaparelli To ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ CCXP Mexico Expo

Vanessa Kirby was back on the red carpet promoting her upcoming film The Fantastic Four: First Steps at CCXP Mexico 2025 on Saturday in Mexico City.

Much like the trailer launch back in February, Vanessa posed with co-stars Pedro Pascal, Joe Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach—but this time, a surprise fifth cast member joined the spotlight: her baby bump, making this event the stylish reveal of her first pregnancy

We all know Vanessa loves a slinky silhouette, and it looks like maternity wear isn’t disrupting that rhythm just yet. She wore a shimmery teal Schiaparelli trompe-l’œil maxi dress from the Spring 2025 collection, featuring a knitted profile that cleverly outlines the shape of a swimsuit across the bodice.

Now you’ve seen it, you can’t unsee it. The optical illusion could be a cheeky nod to her Sue Storm costume—and whether intentional or not, it’s clever, playful, and perfectly on-brand, especially with blue being Sue’s signature colour.

What I love most about this look—aside from the news itself—is that Vanessa continues to reassure us this won’t be an LBD parade. She’s having fun with fashion, which is exactly what I was hoping for.

I’m genuinely excited to see how her maternity style evolves ahead of the film’s release in July 2025. And with Andrew Mukamal styling her—who worked with Margot Robbie during her pregnancy—we already know this is going to be a very stylish maternity press tour.
