Celebrities Front Row at Louis Vuitton Resort 2026

Louis Vuitton took its Resort 2026 show to the majestic Palais des Papes in Avignon, where the drama of the setting matched the high-fashion theatrics served by Nicolas Ghesquière’s designs—and his very loyal (and very stylish) celebrity muses. As always, the front row offered a full runway of its own.

Still in her boho era

Emma Stone is still fully committed to her boho maxi dress era, as recently seen at Cannes, but I prefer this version. The pretty blue print is more romantic, more photogenic, and generally more successful for a setting like the French Riviera—making me wish this had been her Cannes photocall moment. It’s giving ease, it’s giving breezy, it’s giving I’m here for the artisanal wine and the views.

Is that you, December?

As soon as Alicia Vikander stepped out in her Louis Vuitton black velvet mini dress, trimmed with a red velvet ribbon, all I could hear was jingle bells. Throw in the opaque tights and black boots, and we’ve suddenly been transported to a chic winter soirée in Stockholm. It’s cute, it’s festive, and honestly? It kind of works, just… not for May in Provence.

Cool girl in command

Say what you will about cycling shorts, but Hoyeon can make almost anything work. The contemporary peplum top gives this Louis Vuitton look structure and edge. It leans into the sporty-chic lane in a way that feels effortlessly cool. She makes the case for biker shorts—and wins.

Still buying what she’s selling

Sophie Turner remains one of Louis Vuitton’s most reliable ambassadors—even when the look doesn’t quite come together. I love the jewel-print suit, but let’s be honest, that bag and those white shoes don’t really work with it. And yet, Sophie somehow makes it feel cool. It’s the charisma for me.

maternity moment

Congratulations are in order for Saoirse Ronan, who is expecting her first child with husband Jack Lowden. This Fall 2025 Louis Vuitton maxi dress, with its volume and movement, is a beautiful and practical choice. If there’s a press tour in her near future, she’ll have plenty of maxi dresses to choose from in this collection – even though Emma Stone appears to be monopolising them.

Feeling Blue

Felix’s cool-toned Louis Vuitton suit is made for his icy blond hair and porcelain skin. It’s giving modern-day princeling, and while the fit is sharp, the colour really carries the moment.

I was about to buy into this until..

Chloë Grace Moretz has never been one to colour inside the lines, and this painterly floral top with parachute trousers proves just that. I was fully on board—until the metallic silver boots came stomping in. Sometimes restraint is the missing accessory.

Call me in autumn

Urassaya Sperbund’s Louis Vuitton taupe knit jumpsuit with a matching cape looks like it was designed with October in mind. Cosy, layered, and chicly neutral, this look will absolutely live its best life come sweater weather, but she looks elegant nonetheless.

Two sides of a fashion coin

Liu Yifei continues to be the queen of versatility. On the red carpet, she’s pure Disney fantasy. At fashion week? Total front-row influencer. This LV look adds to her chameleon appeal—so much so, I almost did a double take wondering if it was her.

Less is more—especially with boots

Ava DuVernay wore a ruffle-heavy Louis Vuitton look, which already brought texture, colour, and print to the table. The heavy boots tipped it into over-styled territory. A sleeker shoe would’ve done wonders for balance.

Rapunzel

Da’Vine Joy Randolph had a fairytale energy with her long red braid and brown Louis Vuitton dress. The neutral palette let her hair do the talking, and the overall effect was enchanting.

Fashion fisherman fantasy

Shay Mitchell’s look veered into dress-up territory, mostly thanks to the fisherman-style hat that matched her barbour-inspired Louis Vuitton ensemble. Without the hat, I think this could have worked. With it, it’s a bit comical. But if I’m honest, I think Alexa Chung could have sold this to me.

A lesson in sleeve management

Cate Blanchett revived a look from the Louis Vuitton Resort 2022 collection, featuring that unforgettable draped sleeve top. The key here? Letting your hands show. Otherwise, you risk looking like you’re being swallowed alive—something Naomi Osaka learned the hard way at the 2021 ESPYs.
