Celebrities at the Critics’ Choice Association’s 8th Annual Celebration of Black Cinema & Television
There were many more celebrities who joined Teyana Taylor and Tessa Thompson for the Critics’ Choice Association’s 8th Annual Celebration of Black Cinema & Television on Tuesday in LA.

Chase Owns This One
I know what you’re thinking Chase Infiniti has bitten off more than she can chew in this Christopher John Rogers Fall 2025 silver suit. For me? She nailed it. On the runway they paired the blazer with slim trousers, Chase chose the balloon-volume version and carried it with total ease. The cinched waist, exaggerated peplum and wide satin trouser all work together because she owns it, not the other way around.

Soft Shine
Honouree Jurnee Smollett, who received the Actress Award – Series for Smoke, wore a strapless sweetheart Alex Perry Resort 2026 gown that played beautifully with the lighting. The metallic sheen, the sculpted bodice and her soft waves came together creating a confident, statuesque moment for an actress in her winning era.
Styled by Katie Bofshever.

Copper Edge
Ryan Destiny chose a Ferrari Spring 2026 leather strapless dress, and the russet tone against her complexion was striking. The silhouette is what really sells it — that sculpted bodice flowing into a clean, elongated line creates a sleek profile. And then there are the animal-print sandals, which aren’t a usual choice, but they bring a playful twist that lifts the entire look.
Styled by Law Roach.

Pearl Precision
Skye P. Marshall, who collected the Supporting Actress Award for Matlock, looked sensational in Pamella Roland Pre-Fall 2025 gown. The column silhouette, the clean V-neckline and the intricate pearl beading formed a look that felt incredibly refined.
Styled by Jason Rembert.

Rich Tones
Sinners director Ryan Coogler and his wife Zinzi Coogler opted for warm seasonal hues. Zinzi looked radiant in a burgundy Greta Constantine Quiven A-line gown — a rich, saturated tone that suited her beautifully.
