Zoey Deutch Wore Prada To The 2025 Gotham Film Awards

Zoey Deutch attended the 2025 Gotham Film Awards in New York City last night, and if there was ever a moment to prove just how versatile her style has been this year, this was it.

Her Nouvelle Vague promo tour cemented her as one of the best dressers of 2025 — all retro nods, chic throwbacks, and a sense of character-driven fashion storytelling. But for the Gothams? She flipped the narrative entirely.

Zoey arrived in a Prada faux-feather gown. It’s crafted from paillettes cleverly cut to mimic ostrich feathers, creating dramatic texture and volume without a single plume in sight. This is Prada at its most playful: bold colour, sculptural surface, and a silhouette that swallows Prada’s usual tec-satin-column formula whole. More of this, please — the unpredictability is much more exciting.

With a dress this exuberant, she wisely kept everything else minimal. No need for heavy styling when the gown already takes centre stage with total confidence. Zoey has delivered standout looks all year, but this one earns a spot near the top of the list.

It also made me recall Sarah Paulson’s 2018 Ocean’s 8 premiere Prada look — though that gown leaned futuristic, whereas Zoey’s feels more joyful. A different flavour entirely, but the same unmistakable Prada audacity.
