Renate Reinsve joined her co-star Elle Fanning on the red carpet for the Sentimental Value London Film Festival screening held at The Royal Festival Hall on Sunday.
The Norwegian actress has worn a series of impressive custom Louis Vuitton looks during this press tour, but this might just be my favourite. The black velvet cropped bolero jacket and high-waisted skirt created a sculptural dialogue between volume and restraint — a study in proportion and control.
The curved shoulders and bell-shaped skirt felt both futuristic and timeless, nodding to Balenciaga’s 1950s couture architecture while filtered through Nicolas Ghesquière’s modern precision. It’s a piece that blurs the line between garment and sculpture, between elegance and experimentation.
Renate’s minimalist styling — slick hair, pointed pumps, and no unnecessary adornment — let the craftsmanship breathe.
The result was hypnotic: clean, assured, and powerful. I’m truly fascinated by everything going on here. This is a true statement of individuality.
