Celebrities in Armani at the 2025 Emmy Awards
No designer was better represented at the 2025 Emmy Awards than Giorgio Armani, who dressed some of the eveningās most memorable attendees.

Archival stripes, timeless glamour
Archival looks can be tricky ā either it feels dated (see Amal Clooney at Venice Film Festival), or it feels like a revelation. Molly Gordonās Armani Fall 1996 black-and-white strapless column gown was the latter. The stripes, the clean silhouette, the subtle curve at the waist ā it all reminds us that Armaniās designs live on forever because they are made outside of trends. Add the Tiffany & Co. archive jewels and it became one of the rare moments where the past felt completely present.

Crystal shimmer with a bow on top
Seeing Anna Sawai in Armani PrivƩ instead of Dior was unexpected, but I love a little contract flexibility. The black silk with crystal embroidery and tulle overlay had a quiet elegance that suits her style, and the oversized bow at the shoulder gave it a red carpet flourish.

Brown Suits are trending again
Brown was popular on the men this year, but Justin Hartleyās chocolate Armani tuxedo led the charge. I liked that he avoided the brown-suit-black-tie trap, which rarely works, and instead leaned into the richness of the tux. Yes, I would have preferred brown shoes over the black Christian Louboutins, but the overall impact was still modern and sharp. A win in my book.

Bow Attraction or Distraction?
Keri Russellās Armani PrivĆ© gown with the plunging neckline and oversized satin bows will likely divide opinion. For some, the bow will be too much; for others, they add exactly the kind of statement needed on a carpet full of black gowns. Personally, I love how she never plays it safe, even in Armani. Sabyasachi Jewelry completed her look.

Midnight velvet, maximum charm
Jesse Williams in Armani midnight velvet was the kind of look that makes you pause. The double-breasted jacket, the tonal navy shirt, the tailored trousers ā everything worked in harmony, but it was that lush velvet that made the look swoon-worthy. He manages to elevate classic menswear with charm alone, and Armani gave him the perfect canvas.

The Dress delivered
Kristen Bellās Armani PrivĆ© gown was stunning as the skirt embroidered with sequins and crystals that caught the light beautifully. But as much as I wanted to love the overall look, the hair and makeup didnāt keep pace with the dress. It felt like two different stories happening at once, which was a shame because the gown itself deserved more. Bucherer Fine JewelleryĀ completed her look.

Velvet elegance
Fresh from her trip to the Venice Film Festival, Leslie Bibb remains firmly in her Armani PrivĆ© era. This time, she opted for a black strapless velvet gown ā decidedly opaque compared to her previous outing. The bodice, accented with crystals, is the most captivating element, not just for its sparkle but for the intricacy of its construction.

Ageless in Armaniās timeless codes
Thereās something comforting about seeing Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart in Armani ā like time hasnāt really moved on since they made their red carpet debut. His tux was quietly impeccable, and her black-and-white gown with the velvet and tulle stripe overlay had a refined glamour that felt true to her. The necklace sealed it with just enough sparkle to remind us this was Emmy night.

Black on black
Jason Isaacs proved that Armaniās black-on-black tailoring is a safe but smart choice. It wasnāt the kind of look that reinvented the wheel, but it didnāt need to be. Clean, sleek, and perfectly fitted ā it was the kind of quiet confidence that shows why Armani remains the go-to for men who want to look impeccable without fuss.
