Celebrities at the ‘Butterfly’ New York Premiere
Piper Perabo, Daniel Dae Kim, and Reina Hardesty were a well-dressed trio at the Butterfly New York premiere held at Regal Union Square on Tuesday—and you know I love a cast who looks like they actually texted each other beforehand.
Peachy keen and perfectly serene
Piper Perabo delivered understated elegance in a peach-hued layered gown by Akris. With just a silver bracelet and ring as her accessories, this was an effortlessly graceful look that needed nothing more, as she let the soft silhouette speak volumes.
Strong shoulders, Stronger presence
Daniel Dae Kim, who we last saw on the red carpet celebrating his Korean heritage, took a different style route this time—opting for an oversized charcoal suit with strong, structured shoulders. The trousers had a deep break, falling just a touch too long, but I’m still here for the effortless vibe. It’s tailored cool with a quiet edge—and I’m into it.
Corset drama
Reina Hardesty wore the now-familiar Mugler look that blends corset structure with draped elegance. First spotted on Laverne Cox, the dress still delivers impact. My only quibble? The necklaces. With a piece this strong, less really is more when it comes to accessories. The dress didn’t need them.
