Following her striking red look in London, Joy Sunday brought yet another standout moment to the Wednesday Season 2 New York premiere on Tuesday—this time swapping elegance for edge.

If you squinted, you might think Thom Browne and Moschino collaborated on a rebellious school uniform, but her black and white short suit was actually by Feng Chen Wang. Known for conceptual tailoring with a utilitarian backbone, Wang’s designs are about reimagining the familiar.

Split panels, exposed seams, strategic layering, and frayed edges gave the ensemble a raw yet refined attitude. Styled with oval sunglasses and moto-inspired, calf-length leather boots, it struck the perfect balance between preppy and punk. The white socks peeking out above the boots subtly mirrored the white panels in the suit—an intentional echo that pulled the whole look together.
