Julia Garner Wore Gucci To ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ LA Premiere

After going full Silver Surfer in London, Julia Garner flipped the colour palette for the Los Angeles premiere of The Fantastic Four: First Steps on Monday evening—trading silver for an electrifying shade of blue. And what a dazzling blue it was.

Wearing custom Gucci, Julia stepped onto the red carpet in a strapless gown with a thigh-high slit that shimmered in an oceanic metallic finish. Hints of green and teal flickered under the lights, creating an iridescent effect that felt like a deep-sea fantasy. Even though she skipped the silver, the look still nodded to her role as the humanoid alien with metallic skin—just from a different point on the colour wheel.

Even without that connection, this was a standout look for Julia. We’ve come to expect retro-leaning silhouettes and classic touches from her, as vintage eras suits her so well. So this more fluid, futuristic moment felt like a refreshing shift.

Black strappy sandals and diamond jewels completed the look, allowing the gown’s hypnotic colour and texture to take centre stage.
