Pedro Pascal Wore Tom Ford by Haider Ackermann To ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ LA Premiere
For The Fantastic Four: First Steps press tour, Pedro Pascal brought in Jamie Mizrahi as his new stylist—and the result has been a Tom Ford by Haider Ackermann love affair worth paying attention to. That affinity continued through to Monday night’s world premiere at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles.

Sticking with the romantic thread that’s run through much of this tour, Pedro wore a white shawl-collar jacket paired with black trousers. But it was the accessories that really sold the mood—specifically, a red flower pin and a black polka dot scarf that added a slightly dandy flourish to the look.

There’s no denying the vibe was strong, but I can’t help but feel the white ribbed vest underneath may split opinion.

Was it too casual for the elegance of the tailoring? Did the look need something with a bit more polish, or nothing at all under the blazer? And then there’s the break in the trousers—not the best we’ve seen on him. Still, there’s something endearing about Pedro’s way of doing red carpet style that’s always a little undone but still thoughtful.

Tom Ford burnished razor-tip leather boots grounded the look in his usual rugged sensibility.
Stylist: Jamie Mizrahi.

On the red carpet, Pedro was joined by his sister Lux Pascal, who brought a welcome hit of high drama in Gianfranco Ferré.

Her black backless halter dress, from the Spring 2011 collection, with braided leather detailing across the body was the kind of sultry elegance I’ve long missed from the label.

Hopefully, this is a sign of more Ferré moments to come—whether revived or archival.
