Simone Biles Wore Athleta by Zac Posen To The 2025 ESPY Awards

Simone Biles, the most decorated gymnast in World Championships history with 30 medals, added two more honours to her name at the 2025 ESPY Awards on Wednesday—Best Championship Performance and Best Female Athlete.

She arrived in a custom Athleta by Zac Posen gown, inspired by her favourite Athleta piece: the Transcend Open Back Tee. The look was equal parts elegance and athletic grace.

I loved the colour, the shimmer, and the overall silhouette—it felt fresh, strong, and celebratory. That said, the middle section between the hip and thigh was slightly distracting. Whether it was undergarments peeking through, a seam placement issue, or a built-in detail meant to accentuate curves, it ended up drawing more attention than it should have. A more seamless finish would’ve elevated the look completely.
