But the execution just didn’t land. The visible double-sided tape instantly pulls focus, and those underpants? Cheap-looking enough to undo all the high-voltage sparkle. The bones of the look were there, but the details let it down. And once you notice the tape, you can’t unsee it.

Thankfully, redemption wasn’t far behind. Ciara’s second look, the Bronx And Banco Zoia gown in electric blue, reminded us why we fell for her red carpet style in the first place. The feathers. The drama. This gown had all the energy her first look was reaching for, with a lot more finesse. It felt playful yet elevated, with the kind of glamour that feels uniquely Ciara.
