Natalie Portman Brings Classic French Glamour to Cannes With a Rosy, Radiant Glow

Natalie Portman made a dreamy return to the Cannes Film Festival red carpet for the premiere of Eddington this evening, and while the Dior gown did plenty of heavy lifting in the elegance department, it was her radiant beauty look—created in collaboration with the Dior Beauty team—that truly sealed the deal.

This was Natalie leaning into classic French glamour, but with a fresh, rosy twist. Her skin was luminous in that effortless, lit-from-within way, prepped with Capture Le Sérum and perfected using Dior Forever Skin Glow in 2.5N Neutral. A sweep of Dior Forever Glow Maximizer in Pearly and Glow Luminizer in 04 Pink Strobe added the kind of high-definition glow that doesn’t scream “highlight” but whispers “healthy, happy skin.”

Her brows were softly defined with Diorshow Brow Styler in 05 Black, while eyes were subtly sculpted using Diorshow 5 Couleurs in 557 Brown Cachemire and finished with a clean flick of Diorshow Liquid Liner in 096 Satin Black. It gave a sense of precision and structure without overpowering the look—a perfect balance.

Cheeks were flushed with Dior Backstage Rosy Glow in 012 Rosewood, and the Forever Skin Correct in 2WO Warm Olive gave seamless, breathable coverage. The star of the show, however, might just have been that lip: the elegant depth of Rouge Dior Contour in 229 Rose Spice paired with the juicy sheen of Dior Addict Lip Glow Oil in 015 Cherry. The result? A modern, romantic pout that complemented her natural tones and brought warmth to the whole look.

This wasn’t about theatricality or trend-chasing—it was Natalie Portman doing what she does best: showing up like the icon she is, in full control of a beauty look that whispers grace, glamour, and timeless sophistication.
