Natalie Portman Wore Dior Haute Couture To The ‘Eddington’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Following her earlier Arco photocall duties, Natalie Portman returned to the Cannes Film Festival red carpet this evening for the Eddington premiere—and brought with her a moment so striking, I’m tempted to ask: can lightning strike twice?

Because the last time she gave us Dior magic at Cannes for the May December premiere back in 2023?—you crowned it your favourite look of the entire year.

Tonight, Natalie wore a reimagined version of the iconic ‘Mexique’ gown from Dior’s Fall 1951 Haute Couture collection which was oozing with opulence, and dripping in romantic decadence.

What truly elevates this look, aside from the obvious craftsmanship, is how effortlessly Natalie leans into her regal energy. That posture, the poise, the grace… it’s giving timeless movie star. Throw in a breathtaking Tiffany & Co. necklace and a sleek updo, and the whole look becomes Cannes red carpet perfection.

This is the kind of cinematic glamour I come to Cannes for. Finally, the magic has arrived.
