Celebrities at the 2025 Disney Upfront
The 2025 Disney Upfront held in New York City wasn’t just a showcase of what we’ll be bingeing next—The Bear Season 4, The Handmaid’s Tale Season 6, Ironheart and more—but also fashion showcase. With so many networks under Disney’s umbrella, the guest list was rich with talent.

Once upon a peplum
Seeing Ginnifer Goodwin again on the red carpet felt like a warm hug. Her Edeline Lee dress struck the sweetest balance between classic and contemporary, with an asymmetrical peplum detail adding dimension and charm to the clean silhouette. She kept it simple but smart with a gold clutch and white pumps, making this a masterclass in how to do minimalism without losing personality. We’ve missed this kind of quiet elegance from her.

Lined with intention
Ayo Edebiri, who always brings an edge to her red carpet moments, chose a Hodakova Fall 2025 layered lining dress crafted from repurposed viscose, giving this look that conceptual punch the designer is known for. This was a sustainable statement that Ayo wears with total ease.

Slit decision
Selena Gomez served grown-up chic in a Thom Browne Fall 2024 black dress with structured shoulder pads and a neatly boxy silhouette. You had to lean in a little to spot the brand’s signature stripes—they were subtly placed along the skirt’s slit, like a secret only lovers of fashion would clock. Add in Grown Brilliance, Porter Lyons and Ali Weiss jewels, a pair of Jimmy Choo Ixia pumps, and the whole thing was pure elegant restraint.

Denim déjà vu
Teyana Taylor resurrected the now-famous Schiaparelli denim set that Maya Hawke first wore in Cannes back in 2023, with Alicia Keys giving it a go after her. Even though the trousers are so long they practically deserve their own zip code, this look just feels like it belongs to Teyana. The styling, the stance, the energy. I just works. And yet, how she walked without tripping remains one of fashion’s great mysteries.

Velvet remix
Sarah Paulson gave us texture, texture, and even more texture in a Tory Burch Fall 2025 ensemble: a velvet jacket paired with a mohair jacquard skirt. It sounds like a lot because, well, it is. But that’s never stopped Sarah before. With muted accessories and those ever-reliable Jimmy Choo pumps, she pulled this bold print look together with confidence and a knowing wink to maximalists everywhere.

Moulin muse
Niecy Nash-Betts rolled up in a Christian Siriano look that instantly had me thinking: is she hosting a cabaret? The drama, the flair, the presence—it’s giving emcee of Moulin Rouge. All that was missing was a top hat and a spotlight. But honestly, with Niecy, the spotlight follows her anyway.
