Halle Berry Wore Elie Saab Haute Couture To The L’Oreal Paris Dinner In Honor Of Women In Cinema Dinner
When I saw Halle Berry on the red carpet for the L’Oréal Paris Women in Cinema dinner during Cannes Film Festival, my first thought was, “finally, a win.” And not a forced win—an easy, effortless, undeniable one.

This is a duo with history, and fashion lovers know the role Halle played in catapulting the designer into the mainstream. So yes, when I saw her gliding onto the carpet in this soft pink, strapless gown from the Elie Saab Spring 2025 Haute Couture collection, I was happy.
This is grown woman glamour. The kind that knows its worth (pun intended). Draped to perfection, with a slit that offers just enough without veering into try-hard territory, it’s elegant, elevated and exudes that leading-lady-at-Cannes energy.
Why this wasn’t her Opening Ceremony look—or her look last night—is a mystery I’ll be pondering for the rest of the week.
Chopard jewels added the right dose of sparkle, and the Aquazzura Tequila 105 gem-embossed sandals brought a playful touch. This was a case of smart, considered red carpet styling—something we don’t always get.
That said, while the dress delivered, I’m still holding out hope for a hairstyle that matches the majesty of her looks. Because with a face and gown this good, the hair deserves to rise to the occasion too.
More of this energy, please.
