Here is a roundup from the men who attended the 2023 Gotham Awards.
Starting with Colman Domingo, of course.
The actor never fails to make a sartorial statement, and this Ralph Lauren Spring 2024 suit is no exception.
The yellow trousers might be a step too far for some, and I would understand if you felt that way, but even at the most prestigious events, Colman Domingo will always do Colman Domingo, and with that comes a touch of flair.
He is one of one, and perhaps the only man in Hollywood who is going to pull this off.
Andrew Scott also didn’t subscribe to the all-black traditional tux either for this event, as he went against the grain wearing a Prada pastel blue suit.
Too summery? I think the shade has more of a grey-ish tint, which keeps it on the right side of Fall.
Bradley Cooper joined his ‘Maestro’ co-star Carey Mulligan on the red carpet looking as sophisticated as ever in this black three-piece suit, even if I wish this was a black-on-black moment.
‘May December’ star Charles Melton not only did the black-on-black thing in Prada, but he also went shirtless.
And I know how many of you feel about male celebrities going shirtless in November.
Personally, I don’t mind what’s fast becoming a new trend.
A Chopard timepiece completed his look.
Jeffrey Wright gave us a completely different variation of the black-on-black trend with a much more seasonal appropriateness by adding a turtleneck.
Unfortunately, there is a lot wrong with Jharrel Jerome’s look, and the necklace is the least of my worries, because the fit of the suit is throwing me off.
Leonardo DiCaprio joined his ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ co-star Lily Gladstone on the red carpet, in what is going to be a familiar picture we are likely to see this coming awards season.
