'Barbie' LA Photocall with Issa Rae & America Ferrera

Kate McKinnon, Issa Rae, Greta Gerwig, and America Ferrera joined Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling for the press junket and photocall for ‘Barbie,’ held at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills on Sunday (June 25).

While Margot was still giving us pink looks last week, the rest of the cast – who have opted for pink too – were very much in sync with their neutral tone looks.

Kate McKinnon, who seems determined not to play the pink game, was all business wearing a Prince of Wales three-piece DKNY suit.

Issa Rae is usually our girl for colour, so I was disappointed by both the blandness of the colour and the underwhelming nature of her St. Agni set.

Greta Gerwig was in director mode yet didn’t opt for a suit. I am very surprised, I have to say.

She wore a camel-coloured cashmere sweater and pleated re-nylon skirt from Prada.

America Ferrera is perhaps my favourite here wearing an Elie Saab Spring 2023 two-piece look accented with scallops and lace inserts that brought a timeless elegance to the look.
