Jennifer Lopez Wore Valentino Haute Couture To The ‘Shotgun Wedding’ LA Premiere
Jennifer Lopez made her first red carpet appearance of 2023 for the premiere of her latest rom-com ‘Shotgun Wedding,’ which gave us two looks.
The actress loves to present red carpet looks that match the mood of her films, and this Valentino Fall 2022 Haute Couture gown was no exception.
However, I feel like I’m forcing myself to love this look because I’m usually a big fan of JLo’s style.
Had this been an on stage look where she was performing a beautiful ballad, I think I would’ve got wrapped up in the fantasy of it all.
But much like Kate Hudson’s Elie Saab Haute Couture ‘Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery’ LA premiere look, I’m struggling to get on board with this shade of nude.
In this case it feels like a been-there-done-that look for JLo who loves an alluring nude base with embellished details.
Factor in those heavy heels and this is a no from me.
A Tyler Ellis velvet yellow clutch matched the yellow bow which sits under her gown.
Thoughts?
JLo’s second look of the night also hailed from the Valentino Fall 2022 Haute Couture collection.
The ruffled and embellished dress definitely would have put her in the party mood.
I feel like some will say this is too twee on account of the length and the styling which included a Self-Portrait The Bow Mini diamanté bag and Valentino Tan-Go pumps, but I actually prefer this to her main event gown.
