Margot Robbie Wore Chanel Haute Couture To The 2023 Golden Globe Awards

Margot Robbie was of course wearing Chanel for the 2023 Golden Globe Awards, where she was nominated in the Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical Award for her performance in ‘Babylon.’

We have been crying out for a custom Chanel design for Margot for some time, and it looks like the fashion gods heard our prayers, as her light pink Chantilly lace and silk tulle gown was a custom creation inspired by the Chanel Fall 2022 Haute Couture collection.

I know the union hasn’t been favoured by most, but perhaps you will agree with me that this might just be a personal best for Margot x Chanel.

I love how the chevron motif embellished with sequins, bugle beads and pinches of feathers gives this dress a ‘20s vintage feel, and how she’s wearing a colour from Chanel other than black or white.

The final detail was a Chanel High Jewelry Comète Aubazine brooch which accented the neckline.

When it comes to Margot custom Chanel Haute Couture design she said, “Haute couture in itself is an art form. It’s been such a privilege to be a Chanel ambassador for the past 5 years and really see first-hand the incredible craftsmanship that goes into these gowns. There are so many beautiful, handcrafted, intricate details in this dress, I feel incredibly lucky to be wearing it this evening.”
