‘The Woman King’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

‘The Woman King’ premiere took place during the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival on Friday (September 9) in Ontario, with Viola Davis, Lashana Lynch, John Boyega, Sheila Atim, Thuso Mbedu and Hero Fiennes Tiffin in attendance.

I didn’t know I could experience so much joy in a single picture.

Viola Davis knows that bold colours are radiant on her.

I love how this custom Greta Constantine sees the merging of fashion’s favourite colour combo, pink and red.

Factor in the floral appliqué bodice and I’m head over heels in love with this vibrant outing.

Lashana Lynch seems to be moving out of her all black all of the time era. I have noticed this since Cannes.

The British actress looked gorgeous stepping onto this red carpet wearing a custom pink Prada dress that screams custom, because the fit and the length couldn’t be more perfect.

We expect some sparkle on a Prada look, and they were seen on the bows on the back.  I’m glad they weren’t on the front with this look.

Fernando Jorge Jewelry provided the finishing touch.

Thuso Mbedu joined the Balmain army, wearing a custom armoured gown.

This isn’t the style that we are used to from Thuso.

You’ll either feel that she should’ve swapped with Lashana, or like this slightly more directional look for an intriguing change of pace.

John Boyega was looking very sharp in this Matthew Reisman purple suit.

This is such a perfect, typically bold colour for him.

The look was styled with Santoni shoes.

I can’t say I’m too enamoured by the makeup on this occasion, but Sheila Atim does look striking in this custom Erdem creation.

We don’t often get a custom moment from Erdem Moralıoğlu, and I’m enjoying every moment of this look – which of course featured flowers which are embroidered onto this look.

Jessica McCormack jewels completed her look.

Hero Fiennes Tiffin wore a Fendi Men’s suit from the Spring 2023 collection which didn’t include the colour burgundy…hurray!!

My favourite part of this look are the shoes as they tie in perfectly with his suit.
