Nicki Minaj Wore Burberry & Roberto Cavalli To The 2022 MTV VMAs
In addition to her Dolce & Gabbana look, Nicki Minaj rocked three more looks backstage at the 2022 MTV VMAs on Sunday (August 28).
Starting with the custom Burberry look, I have to say I’m shocked at how understated this look is.
We’re used to OTT Barbie looks to the point of acceptance (even if we don’t like them style-wise), but this took me by surprise.
I guess Riccardo Tisci owed her one after her Met Gala look.
Sparkling Saint Laurent sandals and a David Yurman cuff completed this beautiful look.
I never thought I would wish to own a dress worn by Nicki Minaj, but here you have it .
When it comes to this Barbiecore inspired Dolce & Gabbana x Venus Prototype mash up couldn’t be a more perfect representation of her on-stage, alter ego style.
Pink, pink and more pink.
We had a non-pink moment as Nicki showcased her awards backstage wearing an animal print dress from Roberto Cavalli’s Resort 2023 collection.
I would call this an “out-of-character” look; when the real Nicki Minaj stands up, but I do love her more flavourful outing.
There is never a dull moment with Nicki.
