Nicki Minaj Wore Dolce & Gabbana To The 2022 MTV VMAs

Nicki Minaj not only delivered an iconic performance of her greatest hits at the 2022 MTV VMAs on Sunday (August 28), but she was also the recipient of the prestigious Michael Jackson MTV Video Vanguard Award.

The rapper was in all pink – as to be expected – wearing a custom Dolce & Gabbana bright fuchsia liquid silk gown.

As you know I love Dolce & Gabbana use of liquid silk, but I wish they left out the part going across the bust, and just had the detail draping from the shoulder to the waist,

The bodice entirely enriched with iridescent Swarovski crystals was the highlight for me, which rendered the rest of her diamonds redundant.

I don’t see this getting a lot of love, but this is Nicki Minaj through and through.

This is the woman who raps about ‘Barbie Tingz’ and ‘Barbie Dreams’ after all.
