Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Michael B. Jordan Lord of the Rings

Here is a roundup from the menswear looks which have caught my eye from premieres, 2022 HCA Awards, Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel this week.

Michael B. Jordan is known for his thirst traps, but he usually reserves them for his Instagram, however, For the ‘Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power’ LA premiere the actor put on a gun show (display of his well-developed muscles of the upper arm, especially the biceps and triceps), wearing a fine knit Chanel top which was giving us what it was supposed to give.

The top was styled with loose-fit trousers by The Row.

Jason Bolden and Michael knew what they were doing, and you’ll hear no complaints from me.

Sterling K. Brown Jimmy Fallon

On Monday (August 15), Emmy-winning actor Sterling K. Brown stopped by ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ to promote his new film ‘Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul.’

As you know I was a little critical of Sterling K. Brown’s style being stuck on repeat, then he did a 180 on us at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, and I was delighted to see he kept the same energy for this TV appearance.

The actor wore a Nemer Saade pink kimono suit which might just be his brightest suit yet.

I love how this feels cool and laid back, yet still imbues the class, elegance and style we all associate with him.

Linda Medvene has done an amazing job finding the perfect balance for Sterling.

Custom David Yurman jewels and white sneakers completed his look.

James Lance 2022 HCA Awards

James Lance of ‘Ted Lasso’ attended the 2022 HCA Awards wearing a look which consisted of a Richard James blazer, Paul Smith shirt and Gucci flares.

The British actor was styled by Warren Alfie Baker, who also works with Andrew Garfield.

Judging by this look, we can continue to credit the stylist for keeping the vintage vibes going on the red carpet in 2022.

Tyroe Muhafidin, who plays Theo in ‘Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power,’ joined his co-stars on the red carpet at the LA premiere.

Honestly, my first thought was that this oversized Firmé Atelier blazer looks a little too big for him.

I adore the teal colour and the unique accents on the lapels, buttons and flaps of the pockets but it looks like he has been shopping from the same Tall, Big and Mighty store as Justin Bieber.

Toheeb Jimoh HCA Awards

Toheeb Jimoh joined his ‘Ted Lasso’ co-stars at the 2022 HCA Awards.

The British actor usually serves up plenty of colour, but on this occasion, he wore a black Hermès suit from the Fall 2022 collection styled with a gunmetal grey metallic shirt.

Are you having a case of déjà vu?

That’s because Chiwetel Ejiofor wore the same suit, with the runway pink wrapped shirt back in June.

Benjamin Walker Lord of the rings

Benjamin Walker joined his ‘Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power’ co-stars on the red carpet wearing a classic Dior Men navy wool suit styled with a Lily of the Valley brooch, white silk pocket square, and black leather derbies.

Justin Hartley HCA Awards

Justin Hartley wore an Etro look to the 2022 HCA Awards, and I have to say I found this a little confusing.

While I love the colours and textures, I don’t like them together.

The light pink top half says summer, while the fuchsia trousers and burgundy shoes are giving me autumn vibes.  Had he worn the full summer look, I would’ve been on board with this.

He can save the bottom half of the look for the winter months.

Ryan Reynolds Jimmy Kimmel

Ryan Reynolds made a guest appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! with guest host Rob McElhenney, where the pair spoke about their upcoming ‘Welcome to Wrexham’ documentary – which premieres in the UK on August 25.

The actor usually gives us a trendy university professor look, but on this occasion he was giving us Wall Street elegance in this Brunello Cucinelli houndstooth wool and cashmere suit from the Fall 2022 collection.
