Chanel @ The 2022 Met Gala

Chanel hosted Lily Allen, Lucy Boynton, Giveon, and Maggie Rogers for the 2022 Met Gala held in New York City on Monday (May 2), without their most high-profile ambassador Kristen Stewart.

Lily Allen was by far my favourite Chanel girl on the night.

This black, pink, purple and orange Chanel organza dress accented with feathers from the Pre-Fall 2022 collection was oozing with colour and personality, so this was a perfect fit for Lily.

Chanel Fine Jewelry completed her look.

Chanel ambassador Lucy Boynton opted for a Chanel Spring 2020 Haute Couture pink sequin lace gown ennobled with gold thread.

Channeling her inner Anna Wintour with her bob hairstyle, I kinda struggled to get on board with this gown because if ever there was someone who was born for this theme, it was Lucy.

Chanel Fine Jewelry provided the finishing touch.

Giveon, who continues to be a friend of the fashion house, rocked a Chanel Pre-Fall 2022 embroidered black fantasy tweed jacket with simple black trousers and Chanel Fine Jewelry and a Chanel ‘Monsieur Diamond Edition’ watch.

I’m hoping that other guys don’t struggle to present the theme.  

You might not recognise singer-songwriter Maggie Rogers as she gave her pixie cut its red carpet debut at the Met Gala.

Maggie wore a Chanel Fall 2022 look with her Chanel Fine Jewelry appearing more on theme than her outfit.
